Group History
Founded in 1993 Simex is part of a 100 year old agri-industry family business . What started out as a one location
grain trading business in the historic Wheat Market of Adana, Turkey has steadily grown into a group of family
owned companies with factories in feed and flour milling, elevators and grain trading activity, corporate farming ,
soy bean processing , general trading , communications, real estate development and Simex’s specialties of building
agri-industrial facilities , food processing facilities and food packaging materials. Group’s main activity continues to
be processing of grains. Every year we process over 200,000 tons of grains into flour, feed and breakfast cereals , furthermore
an estimated 12 million tons of grain passes though Simex built elevators , port facilities and factories all
over the Middle East , Eastern Europe and North Africa.

With headquarters in Istanbul, Turkey Simex provides design, equipment supply, civil works, erection ,project management
services for agri-industry, pasteurization and packing equipment for food industry and packaging materials
and raw materials for packaging industries. Our activities are organized under AgriBulk, AgriProcess ,Poultry and
Trading divisions. We supply tailored solutions combining our skill and knowhow with some of the world’s best
equipment. Our scope of responsibility on a particular project can range from partial equipment supply all the way to
complete turn key delivery, from spot sales of raw materials to custom manufactured packaging solutions.

Trading Division
Simex Trading Division focuses on working with reliable manufacturers of consumables and raw materials , introducing
these products to the Turkish market and maintaining long term relationships with local users of these materials.
With rapid changes in Turkish consumer patterns we believe food packaging market will change considerably
in the upcoming years and we hope to be one of the leading suppliers of raw materials for this market . Currently we
are the leading supplier of clear egg packaging in Turkey , representing Ovotherm of Austria. We are focusing on
suitable raw materials manufacturers that will help Turkish packaging materials manufacturers increase their quality
and product range . Recipe of our success for trading activities starts with a through understanding of the customers
needs , continues with offering the right products to match and surpass those needs and concludes with establishing
